You are among my favorite composers and I sincerely hope you continue with your art and thank you for all the great music thus far.
I adore the Wolfs Rain OSTs and I was just wondering if there will ever be a third addition because I’ve noticed several of my favorite songs are not featured on either cd. Thank you for your time!

I recently listened to your composition Blake Escaflowne. I think it’s fantastic and would like to suggest that our Orchestra perform it at the University of Virginia.
Do you have information about how to get the music?

Also I am a professional trumpeter and sometimes commission Trumpet Concertos for Trumpet and Orchestra.

When you match themes for anime and music, what are the certain elements that you look for?

Also, do you get to see anime being made in person?

Hello Miss Kanno,

I’ve recently become a fan of the anime “Darker than Black”, and really enjoyed the music you did for it.

I thought since you composed most of the pieces for the anime, i might be able to ask you a question about a piece of music i’m trying to find.

I’ve listened to the Original soundtrack and the music i’m looking for doesn’t seem to be on it. It’s an instrumental piece using mainly guitar, so it’s kind of rock sounding. It was normally used during the battle sequences in the anime, more often towards the latter half of the series. I remember a specific time it played, it was during Episode 14 around the 15:30 minute mark. a character named “Bertha” began to use her powers and that’s when the music began to play.

I appreciate any help you can give. Thank you
